She's just a grip and during her internship, Diara had the opportunity to work with Annabel Mullen, producer of the Puerto Rican film Erase Una Vez en el Caribe. This experience allowed exploration in the art department, sparking her interest in the diverse aspects of filmmaking. The journey continued at 28th Street Films, working closely with J. René Munz writer and producer of Lowie Mortem Chronicles of the Dead Detective, gaining hands-on experience across various departments and broadening her industry knowledge.
Over the years, Diara’s career path led her to work with Transford Ortiz's director of El Bachatero del Diablo where she worked with his company and discovered her passion for the electrical department. This was a pivotal moment, fueling aspiration to become one of the leading female gaffers in the industry.
With each collaboration, Diara has been inspired by the incredible professionals she’s worked with and her journey continues with a relentless focus on creating the best version of her story. She remains committed to growth, learning, and crafting her own unique mark in the world of film production.
